[Guide] Moto G4/G4+ Oreo 8.1 Soak Test Update OPJ28.108

SourceForge has marked the file with a malware but trust me it is safe. 

NOTE: This has been tested on XT1643, XT1642, XT1621 for now. Other models can try the twrp backup. TBH TWRP method is the safest for all

Bugs:
Camera is slow on first boot and lags.
Camera takes time to open.
Switching between front camera and back camera takes some time .
SafetyNet does not pass since this isn't a final public release and hence Play Store shows device as uncertified.

Instructions:

For users with UNLOCKED bootloader:
1. Download the twrp backup zip and extract it onto your PC.
1. Boot to TWRP and make backup of your EFS and move it to your external_sd or your PC. 
2. Format data in TWRP (It will wipe the entire internal storage)
3. Copy the extracted folder from step 1 to your phone. Place it in InternalStorage>TWRP>BACKUPS><phoneserialcode> .
Path: /sdcard/TWRP/BACKUPS/<serialcode>/ 
4. In TWRP, choose Restore and then restore the backup.
5. Wipe Caches and Reboot to system. Booting will take time upto 5-10 minutes.

For users who have a LOCKED bootloader and want to flash the OTA anyway:
NOTE: This method will update your partition table, bootloader and the firmware, efs and modem partitions to Oreo and you can't downgrade to a lower version. You will have to wait for a stock ROM higher than or equal to the build number of the OTA. (OPJ28.108). If you try to downgrade it will result in a permanent brick. So it is better to try the TWRP Backup if possible. 

1. Make sure you are on NPJS25.93-14-18 build number. 
2. Perform a factory reset.
3. Download the block_delta file and place it into the root directory of the internal storage.
4. Give Motorola Update Services app the storage permission and the phone will now detect the update package. Press OK to continue. 
OR
Reboot to stock recovery. And choose update from SD Card. Choose the zip and install it.
OR
ADB sideload it.
